About Salute to Service Event

An integral part of the Houses of Honor® tradition is the annual Salute to Service Event, which has been a staple since 2017. Originally conceived as a gesture of gratitude towards our military members, often coinciding with Veterans Day, this event quickly evolved into a successful fundraiser. What makes this event truly special is that we come together to watch our Green Bay Packers football game while celebrating and honoring our veterans.

Additionally, we host over 10 local veteran support organizations, each with a table to provide valuable resources and information. With over 300 veterans in the room, our goal is to connect them with the services our county offers and show them the appreciation they deserve. During halftime, we take a special moment to honor a distinguished veteran who has made a significant impact through their military career and contributions to the world. Donations from this event are channeled to local nonprofit veteran organizations, amplifying their reach and enhancing support for our heroes.

This event would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers, whose support helps make it a success for our veterans. We are grateful for every contribution that allows us to continue this mission. If you’d like to be a part of this incredible cause, please visit our website and click on the “Support Salute to Service Event” link to learn how you can make a difference.
